Fishing for Compliments is an original, melodic Huddersfield-based five piece band that offers a unique indie/folk/pop sound with songs that come straight from the heart.

 

They deliver performances that are full of light and shade and their songs have been described by audience members as; ‘catchy; 'sunny,' ‘happy’ 'enigmatic,' 'intriguing,' and 'making you feel like dancing in the moonlight.’ 

 

The band are highly adatable to the needs of the venue/event and are therefore happy to integrate an array of  covers versions of songs from artists and bands within the indie/folk genre and to offer an acoustic stripped back performance when desired.

The band are available for hire and suit the festival envionment in particular. They also love getting involved in local  community and charity events.
