Biography

Dewsburys #1 early AC/DC era tribute!!! Powerage was born in September '10 from the tragic demise of RIFF RAFF, the areas top AC/DC cover band. They delivered the music with pure grit and aura and because of that will now live on in local music folklore..
Powerage are here to play as many dirty AC/DC tracks as possible to whoever will listen to us. Useing our own style we hope to recreate the spirit of AC/DC's early years..We have got his procise feel, disciplined ease and clockwork timing of the drums down to a tea which is so important. We have the most enigmatic Angus around and the sound of a War in full battle..Put all that together and you have the pocket WWIII....
We are more likely to play in you local pubs and bars because we prefer that up closeness and atmosphere that larger venues don't give. Although we do have the capability of playing as larger venue as anyone can supply.

 

We have access to p.a that can fill town hall and larger type venues.
